Welcome back for Week 13 NCAA football action for the Friday games on Thanksgiving weekend! Last week was another successful one, and I’m back to providing you with more expert college football picks to profit from. I’ve got three Week 12 college football picks against the spread in games featuring Boise State at #21 San Diego State, Kansas State at Texas & Washington State at Washington.
Now, let’s take a look at where we can profit and which sportsbooks are offering the best college football odds to maximize our winnings.
Week 13 College Football Picks Against The Spread
Boise State at #21 San Diego State
Boise | San Diego | |
ML | -150 | +130 |
Spread | -3 (-110) | +3 (-110) |
Totals | O44.5 (-110) | U44.5 (-110) |
Although Boise State is getting 67% of the bets and 94% of the money, I still believe this is the correct side to be on. After all, San Diego State could have its luck running out soon with five straight wins coming by single digits. I think most would agree that a 10-1 team should have a lot more convincing wins on their ledger. Not to mention, they should also be favored at home against a team with three fewer wins than themselves.
Boise State has won four straight games, with the last three coming by double digits. The Broncos also opened as three-point underdogs before moving to 3-point favorites, indicating that something screwy will happen in this game.

Kansas State at Texas
Kansas | Texas | |
ML | +130 | -150 |
Spread | +3 (-110) | -3 (-110) |
Totals | O52.5 (-110) | U52.5 (-110) |
Kansas State QB Skylar Thompson will likely miss the rest of the season, so now the team will have to get it done without him. Even against an underperforming team like Texas, this injury could prove to be too much.
It’s certainly odd to see a 7-4 team as a 3-point underdog against a 4-7 team, and that type of odd-looking behavior on the spread usually spells trouble. There is no bowl game coming for Texas this season, so that amount of desperation is good enough to pull the upset.

Washington State at Washington
Wash. State | Washington | |
ML | -115 | -105 |
Spread | -1 (-110) | +1 (-110) |
Totals | O44.5 (-110) | U44.5 (-110) |
The Apple Cup usually produces some excellent drama, and this year might not be any different. Washington State has not shown any type of consistency down the stretch, alternating wins and losses over the last four games.
On the other hand, Washington has lost three straight but the games have been quite competitive. In fact, seven of their last eight games have been decided by one score. The only misnomer was a 10-point loss to then-#4 Oregon.
