Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers
This is a game that has intrigued me a little more as the week has gone along. The Vikings opened as a three-point underdog but find themselves as favorites on nearly every sportsbook; some have them at -1 and there are even a few -2.5 lines out there as well. It makes sense, though, considering the Panthers have fallen from the grace of their 3-0 start. If Minnesota gets RB Dalvin Cook back this week, that could be all the ammo we need to absolutely hammer this game on the purple people-eaters.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears
As mentioned on my podcast this week, I fail to see how the Bears will be competing in this contest against the Packers. For one, Chicago will be without its top two running backs- both David Montgomery and Damien Williams have been ruled out. Also, Green Bay has the added benefit of QB Aaron Rodgers at its disposal. Rodgers threw for four touchdowns in each of his two matchups against the Bears last season.

Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots
This will certainly be an unpopular pick, considering about 80% of the bets and 60% of the money is heading toward the Cowboys. To be honest, I’m not even sure why the Patriots would have a chance in this game, but literally, everything is pointing to that happening. New England does have a strong defensive unit and, if everything goes according to plan, it can run the football right at Dallas. This one has all the making of an upset, so going with the moneyline isn’t a bad idea here. However, I’ll keep it simple and take the four points.
