NFL Week 7 is about to start and it’s time to start making picks. In this article, I will identify my favorite NFL Expert Picks Week 7 along with the best odds offered from NFL betting sites.
Earlier this week, there were three picks to make before the lines went up. There was one instance of taking 56.5 on the Kansas City Chiefs at the Tennessee Titans game, and the total moved up to 57.5. The other two will be listed below:
NFL Expert Picks Week 7
As seen earlier in the week:
Lions at LA Rams (-16)
The Rams have the highest implied team total (ITT) at 33 this week, and it comes with plenty of good reasoning. For one, Rams QB Matthew Stafford will be facing his former team and he’ll certainly want to put on a good showing for the only franchise he had ever known before this season. Also, the Lions aren’t very good. We just saw the Rams take care of a wounded Giants team last week and that’s essentially what is going to happen this time around.
Colts (+4) at 49ers
The 49ers will make their second Sunday Night Football appearance this season, and I expect them to falter in this one too. Despite losing that Week 5 heartbreaker to the Ravens, we are now seeing the Colts play much better football in each of these last three weeks. San Francisco has a pair of banged-up QBs with Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance both in their own personal hell. If the Colts decide to give Jonathan Taylor a healthy dose of carries, this is going to be a lot closer of a game than most people realize. The Colts are tied for third in the NFL with a +7 turnover differential.
Giants (+3) vs. Panthers
Call me nuts, but I like the Giants this week. The narrative of Sam Darnold returning to the Meadowlands could be too tempting for most to lay off, but there’s a key number in looking at the moneyline here. If the Panthers were so good, they would be a lot bigger than -150 to win the game outright. In addition, we’re already seeing about 75% of the bets on Carolina while the money is a lot closer to 50/50. The Giants looked competent for most of the first half against the Rams last week before a disastrous stretch ruined their day. Look for the Giants to get right at home- there aren’t many chances for wins this season and they know that.
Bengals (buy to .5 point to +7, -125) at Ravens
I’d love to get the number at +7 for the Bengals, who could make it a long day for Lamar Jackson. Cincinnati is the real deal, making this Week 7 matchup all that more important in the AFC North race. Samaje Perine should be good to go this week, giving the Bengals another healthy body in the backfield; Joe Mixon will be playing with ankle issues for the rest of the season. Jackson and the Ravens have been careless with the football at times, and the Bengals can turn those into points. We’re seeing about 60% of the bets towards Baltimore while 70% of the money is heading with Cincy.
