NFL Week 12 is ready to celebrate during Thanksgiving, and that means it’s time to start digging in on the slate early. Before some of these spreads move away from our favor, we can find value in taking them at the start of the week. In this article, I will identify my favorite NFL Week 12 Picks Against The Spread.
This week, there are three NFL picks to make before the lines go up for the following games. So let’s dive in and take a look.
Week 12 NFL Picks Against The Spread
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
For the second straight week at MetLife Stadium, we’re going to see a popular three-point road favorite. Last week, the Dolphins were favored by the same number and won convincingly against the Jets.
After the dud on Monday Night Football, the Giants will understandably be looked down upon. Plus, the performance of QB Daniel Jones has steadily climbed downward in recent weeks. So, the Eagles’ defense should be able to make life even more unbearable for him.
Not to mention that Philly has looked great in recent weeks, placing a higher emphasis on running the football and playing timely defense.
Pick: Eagles (-3)
Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers
The Vikings have logged some serious miles here in recent weeks, going from Baltimore to Los Angeles back home to Minnesota before heading out to San Francisco.
In addition, there is a big mismatch between the 49ers’ run offense and the Vikings’ run defense; the 49ers rank seventh in run offense DVOA and eighth in yards per carry while the Vikings run defense DVOA ranks 28th and 27th in yards allowed per carry.
Also, San Francisco looks strong in recent games, winning three of the last four and scoring 30+ points in all of the victories.
Pick: 49ers (-3)
Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers
This line seems odd to me, but the Rams are coming off their bye week and Aaron Rodgers’ toe injury could be a little more serious than we thought.
Los Angeles lost two straight games heading into the bye, so the focus had to be dialed in for the coaching staff in a marquee matchup like this. Hell, we might even see these teams square off in the playoffs.
All in all, the line movement is favoring the Rams and we may finally see all of their talents work in unison for a victory.
Pick: Rams (+1)
