NFL Week 13 is here and that means it’s time to start digging into our research for the games. Before some of these spreads move away from our favor, we can find value in taking them at the start of the week. In this article, I will identify my favorite NFL Week 13 Picks Against The Spread.
This week, there are three NFL expert picks to make before the lines go up for the following games. So let’s dive in and take a look.
Week 13 NFL Picks Against The Spread
New York Giants at Miami Dolphins
Obviously, the -2.5 number is key so we can win this game on a field goal. However, I believe the Dolphins are the more talented team here by a country mile. Miami has won four straight games, with two of them coming against the Ravens and Panthers. In those four wins, the Dolphins have not allowed more than 17 points; three of the teams scored 10 points or fewer over that span.
Even though the Giants have won two of their last three games, those victories came against teams that basically did everything they could to lose. The most impressive thing about New York’s offense is its kicker, and that won’t get it done against a Miami offense that has progressively scored more points in each of the last four weeks.
Pick: Dolphins (-2.5)
Arizona Cardinals at Chicago Bears
This line caught my eye right off the bat, as the Cardinals (an indoor team) are massive favorites on the road in a cold-weather city. I guess it’s not that surprising, though, as the Cardinals are coming off their bye week and the Bears narrowly squeaked by a winless Lions team on Thanksgiving.
I’m big on the Cardinals, who have a strong -330 number on the moneyline and that usually means there will be minimal screwing around from the favorites. The number also seems to indicate that Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins will be healthy to go for this one.
Pick: Cardinals (-7.5)
San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
While this feels like a trap line, taking the 49ers at -2 could be a wise decision. After all, the Seahawks look like a shell of themselves and also have to travel back West from the East Coast after the late Monday Night Football game.
Meanwhile, San Francisco is playing some great football with wins in four of the last five games; in all four of those wins, the 49ers had 30+ points. Seattle has lost four of its last five games with fewer than 20 points in all those defeats.
Pick: 49ers (-2)
