NFL Week 15 is here, and that means it’s time to start digging in on the slate early. Before some of these spreads move away from our favor, we can find value in taking them at the start of the week. In this article, I will identify my favorite NFL Week 15 Picks Against The Spread.
This week, there are three NFL football picks to make before the lines go up for the following games: Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars & Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens.
Let’s dive in and take a look.
Week 15 NFL Picks Against The Spread
Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns
One week after destroying my hopes and dreams of a perfect Sunday, I will be taking the Browns once again. In Week 14, the 17-0 lead they held only surmounted to a two-point victory, and not above the -2.5 spread that I needed. Let’s not forget with this game that it’ll be played on Saturday, and that’ll be tougher for the West Coast team.
Nevertheless, you need to have a short memory in betting. The Raiders are clearly out of sorts at the moment, as evidenced by the beatdown they received on the road last week at the Kansas City Chiefs. This is a team that has had way too much drama this season, and it’s all bubbling to the surface. Look for the Browns to run the football to a big victory in this one.
Pick: Browns (-5.5)
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars
We saw this matchup in Week 1, and it wasn’t even close, despite the 37-21 final score. The Texans absolutely dominated Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars in his first NFL start, with all of their offense coming in garbage time.
This is essentially the same spread as we saw in the Week 1 matchup but now, of course, the Jaguars are the home team. I don’t think anyone is expecting a high-flying show in Jacksonville on Sunday, and that’s ok. We’ll take this game as boring as it gets in order to keep things within a touchdown. At the end of the day, though, the Texans have a little more in the tank – and we did see them dominate this matchup already.
Pick: Texans (+3)
Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens
The Packers-Ravens matchup will have plenty of intrigues attached to it, considering we don’t know the status of Lamar Jackson at this moment. Even if he did play, I would still take the Packers in this contest. We actually saw Ravens backup QB Tyler Huntley play well in last week’s game against the Browns. However, if it will be him playing, then the Packers will have a better idea of what they’re up against.
Perhaps, the true key to victory will be Aaron Rodgers against a Baltimore defense that ranks 27th DVOA and allows the second-most yards per pass attempt. This is usually the time of year where Rodgers starts to take over, and I don’t think he’ll have any trouble against the Ravens’ secondary.
Pick: Packers (-4.5)
