Atlanta Falcons at Buffalo Bills (-14.5)

I may wind up regretting this at some point this week, but it feels like +14.5 points is a lot here for a team still fighting for a playoff spot. I understand it’s the Falcons outdoors in January, and that hasn’t been a great thing historically. However, Atlanta is able to move the ball in short gains over time, and this could keep the ball away from Josh Allen.
Because of that huge win at Foxborough on Sunday, we should expect the masses to be on the Bills this week. That was a task that felt unreachable for Allen, who had been held in check by Bill Belichick-led defenses of the Patriots’ past. In my mind, I see the Bills winning this game by 10-14 points, so this is more about the number than anything else.
Los Angeles Rams (-3.5) at Baltimore Ravens

The Rams have logged a bunch of travel miles in recent weeks, and this one might be too much for them. Since the end of October, LA has made trips to Houston, San Francisco, Green Bay, Arizona, Minnesota, and now Baltimore – they’ve been all over the place.
Hopefully, the Ravens will get back either Lamar Jackson or Tyler Hundley for Sunday’s game. Josh Johnson actually didn’t do a terrible job last week, he just had to go toe-to-toe with Bengals QB Joe Burrow and that 500+ yard effort. Baltimore is absolutely desperate for a win in this situation, whereas LA could afford a loss.
Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys (-4.5)

It’s impossible to look at these teams over the last few weeks and not think the Cowboys are going to crush the Cardinals. Of course, this is how we can sometimes get ourselves into trouble betting these NFL games – assuming an easy victory – but it’s clear as day.
Arizona can’t get out of its own way, and the injury to WR DeAndre Hopkins is proving to be more noticeable than originally thought.
Meanwhile, Dallas looked great on Sunday night, boat-racing Washington to the tune of a 56-14 beatdown.
The one matchup I’m excited to see is the Cowboys’ defense going up against the speedy QB Kyler Murray and the Cardinals’ offense.
Obviously, the matchup is a bit watered down without Hopkins, but it should still be exciting nevertheless. I fancy the Cowboys to get the win by more than a touchdown.
