NFL Week 8 is about to start and it’s time to start making picks. In this article, I will identify my favorite NFL Expert Picks Week 8 along with the best odds offered from NFL betting sites.
This week’s article features NFL picks in the following matchups: Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints & Jacksonville Jaguars at Seattle Seahawks. Let’s dive into the games and see what we have there:
NFL Week 8 Expert Picks
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
The rivalry between the Browns and Steelers has largely been about bragging rights in the Northeast, but there’s been some merit to the battles lately. Cleveland dominated the postseason meeting between the teams last season, and that sets the stage for Pittsburgh redemption in this one. The Steelers are coming off their bye week, which was preceded by two wins at home against the Broncos and Seahawks. Meanwhile, Cleveland is dealing with a number of injuries and still slugging along the path. It would be great to get Pittsburgh at anything above +3, but we’ll take the points here under these circumstances.
NFL Week 8 Expert Pick – Steelers +3, (-107) at PointsBet
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
As a Bucs fan, it pains me to say that they may be in for some rough times on Sunday. If you ever listen to Taking Sides, I always mention that the 200-range is where I start making my decisions: if a favorite is below -200 on the money, I’m skeptical… if an underdog is below +200, my antenna is raised. New Orleans actually destroyed Tampa Bay in one of their three meetings last season, so this is a team that is certainly capable of bringing the entire toolbox to the dinner table. Let’s not forget, the Saints romped the Packers by five touchdowns in the season opener – and people think they’re going to the Super Bowl.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Seattle Seahawks
Yeah, I can’t believe it either, but I’m going with the Jaguars in this one. For starters, Jacksonville had a bye week heading into its matchup in the Great Northwest on Sunday. Of course, the Seahawks don’t have starting QB Russell Wilson, and that has left the team falling a bit short of expectations in each of the last two games. It looks like Jags QB Trevor Lawrence is starting to figure it out, so I like him to lead a newly-focused team on the road to a strong performance. Most of the public bets are in favor of Seattle while Jacksonville is getting more than 50% of the money wagered.
