Las Vegas Raiders at New York Giants
I will gladly take the Giants at home in this matchup. Before winning a fluke game against the Jets last season, the Raiders were 0-4 in their previous four trips to The Meadowlands. It’s obvious that the cross-country trip affects the West Coast team in this spot.
In all reality, I don’t think the Giants are that bad of a football team, as we just saw on Monday Night Football against the Chiefs. Getting the key number of +3.5 is most important here, and even a +4 would be even greater.

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
I felt like this was a telling -3 spread for the Bengals, especially after they lost a road game to the Jets in Week 8.
Unfortunately, there was an absolutely horrendous call late for the Cincinnati defense on third down where it made a stop and was then called for an unnecessary roughness penalty flag that should have been left in the referee’s pocket. Because of that penalty, New York got the ball back and ran the clock out to victory.
The Browns’ offense has been slowed quite a bit in recent games, and that will be hard to do against a tough Bengals’ defense. Looking at the last five meetings between the two teams, a very bad Bengals team was 1-4 against the Browns. But all of those losses were within single digits.
Now that Cincy is a much better team, look for them to get a big win against Cleveland.

Green Bay Packers at Kansas City Chiefs
After their sluggish performance on Monday Night Football, people shouldn’t feel too optimistic about backing the Chiefs in this one. The Packers are the much more well-rounded team at the moment, winning seven straight games since losing the season-opener by 35 points. Green Bay’s offense against Kansas City’s defense could be the determining factor in this matchup, as the two-headed monster of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon will be crucial to the win.
