Week 13 of the NFL season is limited this Sunday with three games taking place on Thanksgiving Day. In this article, I will identify the three most profitable Over/Under bets from the matchups on Sunday: New York Jets at Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Indianapolis Colts & Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals.
Plus, I’ll show you the moneyline odds, spreads, and totals lines that NFL betting sites are offering. Without further ado, let’s dive into my top NFL picks for Sunday.
NFL Over Under Week 12 Picks
New York Jets at Houston Texans
Jets | Texans | |
ML | +115 | -136 |
Spread | +2.5 (-110) | -2.5 (-110) |
Totals | O44.5 (-110) | U44.5 (-110) |
Let’s get my off-the-wall play of the week out of the way first. Yes, of course, I think we’re going to see plenty of points scored in the Jets-Texans matchup.
Admittedly, it’s an odd set of circumstances, with the Jets going back to rookie QB Zach Wilson after both Mike White and Joe Flacco entered the COVID-19 protocols earlier this week.
Both defenses are not good, and this is a chance for two out-of-the-race teams to open up the playbook a bit and have some fun in what has been a collectively miserable season for both.
Pick: Over 44.5 Points (-110)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Indianapolis Colts
Bucs | Colts | |
ML | -160 | +135 |
Spread | -3 (-110) | +3 (-110) |
Totals | O53 (-110) | U53 (-110) |
This is one of the more intriguing lines of the week, with the Colts jumping up to +2.5 before the Buccaneers even played a down on Monday night. There is a ton of favoritism on Tampa Bay, with about 70% of bets/money heading in that direction. It’s a smarter play to go with Indy in this matchup, but it’ll probably have success by scoring points.
The public may feel like the Bucs defense is back with the great performance on Monday night. However, that was a weak opponent and Carson Wentz could end up taking advantage of the extra time he had to prepare for this contest. On the other sideline, you know that Tom Brady always comes to play in Indy with the ghosts of those past rivalry matchups against Peyton Manning.
Pick: Over 53 Points (-110)
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
Steelers | Bengals | |
ML | +165 | -200 |
Spread | +4 (-110) | -4 (-110) |
Totals | O44.5 (-110) | O44.5 (-110) |
The last time these two teams played, it was one of the ugliest football games these eyes have ever seen. The Bengals won by 14 on the Steelers’ home field, so the revenge factor looms large here.
Given the fact that these teams are in the same division, this is not a game I’m willing to take the over on. I’m aware that the total is 44.5, but it’s certainly worth noting that a Bengals-Steelers game hasn’t had 50+ total points since 2015.
Pick: Under 44.5 Points (-110)
