The NFC Championship Game will be a “Battle of the Bays,” as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to continue their tremendous road show against the Green Bay Packers. This could get very interesting, considering a win for the Bucs would put them in the Super Bowl – which will be played in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium.
In the Week 6 matchup between these teams, it was Tampa Bay coming away with the convincing 38-10 victory.
This will also be the first (and maybe only) time Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers have ever met in a playoff game.
Let’s dive in!

Leonard Fournette, Ronald Jones (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
Prop Bets Watch:
- Fournette: Over 42.5 Rushing Yards
- Fournette: Over 10.5 Rushing Attempts
- Jones: Over 37.5 Rushing Yards
In order for the Bucs to be successful on Sunday, running the football will need to be a top priority. We saw this last week in New Orleans as the Fournette (63)-Jones (62) duo ran for 125 yards combined in a 30-20 win over the Saints.
The Packers run defense ranks below-average (20th) in DVOA this season. Not to mention, 11 different teams ran for 100+ yards against them of the course of the year. LA Rams RB Cam Akers ran for 90 yards on 18 carries and a TD last week in the Divisional Round.
Brady’s TD pass prop number sits at 2.5 (+155) with that heavy juice sitting there. Considering my love for the Bucs in this matchup, the running game appears to be the way it’ll get done against the Packers.
Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers)
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 87.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
- Over 7.5 Receptions (-105)
- 2+ TDs (+300)
We can almost always depend on Adams to get plenty of touches, and he’ll get them in this matchup. With the Bucs sporting the NFL’s No. 1 run defense, look for the Rodgers and the Packers to take their show to the air; and that’s not necessarily a bad thing since he’s got the best WR in the NFL.
Adams had seven 100-yard games during the regular season and then added nine catches on 10 targets for 66 yards and a TD last week against the Rams. Bucs CB Carlton Davis will likely have a long day when it’s all said and done.
