Week 15 of the NFL has some fantastic matchups at the running back position. In the quarterback prop article, I mentioned that we needed indoor conditions in order to hit those numbers. Luckily, we don’t need that for the RBs.
In this article, I will identify the best value in the player-prop betting market at the RB position. The odds in this article are from William Hill Sports – Use the promo code TS500 for a 100% first-time sign-up deposit bonus of up to $500.
Running Back Props
- Ezekiel Elliott (Dallas Cowboys) vs. San Francisco 49ers
- James White (New England Patriots) at Miami Dolphins
- Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints) vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Ezekiel Elliott (Dallas Cowboys) vs. San Francisco 49ers
Sunday, 1:00 pm EST | Watch: FOX
AT&T Stadium – Arlington, TX
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 57.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
- Over 13.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
- Over 74.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)
If you listened to Taking Sides this week, you already know that the Cowboys are my favorite bet on the Week 15 slate. If Dallas succeeds, so will Zeke.
Elliott has failed to reach the 100-yard mark in three straight games, and he’s only done so once this season. In fact, the 49ers haven’t even allowed a single RB to reach that same mark all season. Well, it’s time for all of that to change.
Believe it or not, the Cowboys are still in the race to win the NFC East. This game means a lot more to them than it does for the 49ers. Look for Zeke to run wild and bring his team closer to a division title.
James White (New England Patriots) at Miami Dolphins
Sunday, 1:00 pm EST | Watch: CBS
Hard Rock Stadium – Miami Gardens, FL
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 2.5 Receptions (-120)
- Over 16.5 Receiving Yards (-125)
White makes a surprising appearance on the RB prop bets article this week. Reason being- the Dolphins are not good at defending pass-catching RBs. In fact, they rank dead-last in the NFL in efficiency rate defending success at that position.
The Patriots did have an extra three days to prepare for this matchup against the Dolphins, so look for head coach Bill Belichick to have a nice game plan on Sunday. White’s role in the offense hasn’t been as plentiful in the last three games, but I would certainly look for that to change in this setting. In Week 1 against the Dolphins, White did turn three catches into 30 yards.
Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints) vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Sunday, 4:25 pm EST | Watch: CBS
Mercedes-Benz Superdome – New Orleans Saints
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 56.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
- Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-120)
- Over 98.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)
- Over 5.5 Receptions (+120)
As also mentioned on Taking Sides this week, I’m a big fan of KC getting busy in The Big Easy. If that is the case, look for Kamara to have a lot on his plate.
The biggest proponent in my optimism for Kamara is the return of Saints QB Drew Brees. These last few weeks haven’t been great for Kamara with Taysom Hill under center. Now, with a QB like Brees that throws a lot of short passes, one of the NFL’s best RBs will be able to capitalize on that in a game where points will be needed to stay competitive.
