Unlike the quarterback prop article, this one for the running backs will not have a ton of household names. These guys are both in great matchups and don’t even have the lofty expectations of some of the more-known players in the league. In fact, DFS players can take more notice of this week’s article, considering they won’t cost you an arm and a leg with their individual prices.
In this article, I will identify the best value in the player-prop betting market for Week 14. The odds in this article are from William Hill Sports – Use the promo code TS500 for a 100% first-time sign-up deposit bonus of up to $500.

Ronald Jones (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) vs. Minnesota Vikings
Sunday, 1:00 pm EST | Watch: FOX
Raymond James Stadium – Tampa, FL
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 59.5 rushing yards (-130)
The Bucs are coming off a bye week, giving them a chance to gather themselves once again and come up with a better plan going forward. Head coach Bruce Arians said that he needs to Jones at least 20 touches per week. Of course, this will be the first chance after those comments that we get to see if Arians will live up to his word.
When given at least 17 touches, Jones has at least 80 yards in all five of those games. In fact, the last four of those instances have seen him go above 100 yards rushing.
Jones will have some great chances to score a touchdown or two in a game that Tampa is a 6.5-point favorite at home. Not to mention, the Vikings defense sits below average in a number of different categories.
Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts) at Las Vegas Raiders
Sunday, 4:05 pm EST | Watch: CBS
Allegiant Stadium – Las Vegas, NV
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 53.5 rushing yards (-115)
- Over 13.5 rushing attempts (-130)
It looks like Taylor is starting to finally get the touches he deserves- and that still might not be enough! The rookie out of Wisconsin is hungry, so look for him to get fed quite a bit against the Raiders defense that has allowed a ton of big performances to the RB position this season.
Taylor now has at least 90 rushing yards and 24 receiving yards in each of the last two games; he actually had 44 receiving yards last game. The Las Vegas defense has allowed four different RBs to get at least 115+ total yards and eight different ones to go for 80+.
