The Chargers spread opened at +3.5 and +4 at some sportsbooks, but we have now seen it hold steady at +3 since yesterday. I can see why this happened with most of the bets (72%) coming in for the Chiefs and the money being spent right around 50-50. After all, this is a divisional game and we have seen home underdogs do well in this spot before. Los Angeles did win the earlier meeting in Kansas City by the score of 30-24 in Week 3.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs haven’t needed to be all that flashy on offense in recent weeks. Last week, they did score 48 points and had a 41-point performance in Las Vegas. In some of those other games, there were inclement weather conditions and the Broncos held onto the ball for 40 minutes against them two weeks ago! As I mentioned above, Justin Herbert and the Chargers have been putting up points – but I didn’t even mention that most of those performances came against quality defenses.

In four of his last five matchups against LA, Kelce has been targeted at least nine times. With Mahomes getting back in the groove, Kelce is the guy you want in all your prop bets.
