It’s a packed day of NHL Playoffs action, as we’ll see four Game 2s and only one Game 3 on the slate. The action gets started at 2 p.m. EST and goes all the way into the night. After today’s games, we’ll start to get a better picture of what’s in store for the rest of this round. Obviously, the home-ice element is eliminated in the bubble, so these teams will have to dig down deep.
In this article, we’ll take a look at the odds and best value plays we can find from all NHL games. All of these lines are according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

– Total: Over, 53% of bets made | Under, 75% of money wagered
Betting Pick: Avalanche Puck Line -1.5 (+135)
The Avalanche have a lot more offensive firepower than the Coyotes, hence why we’re seeing so many bets coming their way. In Game 1, Colorado scored all three of its goals in a span of 1:23 in the third period. Arizona will try to grind it out and play a low-scoring game, but that can only work so much. If the Avalanche can spread out the scoring today, things will be a lot more difficult for the Coyotes. T
Montreal Canadiens at Philadelphia Flyers (PHI leads series 1-0)

Betting Pick: Under 5 goals (+117)
In the four games since arriving in the bubble, Philly has only allowed one goal in each of them. Carter Hart is becoming an absolute superstar right before our eyes and the defense in front of him is getting better and better. On the other end of the ice,
Vancouver Canucks at St. Louis Blues (VAN leads series 1-0)

Betting Pick: Blues Moneyline (-143)
To quote the great movie Super Troopers, “Desperation is a stinky cologne.” The Blues are in a position they certainly didn’t think they’d find themselves in. The defending Stanley Cup champs haven’t won a game since returning to the bubble, so this streak has to end at some point. Tonight is the night, based on desperation.
New York Islanders at Washington Capitals (NYI leads series 1-0)
8:00 p.m. EST | Watch: NBCSN
Total: 5 goals | Over: -143 | Under: +117
NYI | Moneyline: +106 | Puck Line +1.5: -265

Where’s the Money Going? (as of 9:30 a.m. EST today)
– Moneyline: 50/50% of bets made | WSH, 70% of money wagered
– Puck Line: N/A of bets made | N/A of money wagered
– Total: Over, 75% of bets made | 92% of money wagered
Betting Pick: Islanders Moneyline (+106)
This is a very suspicious line, as you’d think the Caps would be favored by a lot more with an 0-1 deficit in the series. Because of that, I’ll be taking the Islanders to pull the upset once again. New York did not look good heading into the bubble but just as we’ve seen in the last few playoff runs, this is a team that can play well under these circumstances. Let’s take the Islanders and go against the grain.
Dallas Stars at Calgary Flames (Series tied 1-1)
10:30 p.m. EST | Watch: NBCSN
Total: 5 goals | Over: -141 | Under: +115
DAL | Moneyline: -109 | Puck Line -1.5: +245
CGY | Moneyline: -107 | Puck Line +1.5: -305
Where’s the Money Going? (as of 9:30 a.m. EST today)
– Moneyline: DAL, 69% of bets made | DAL, 77% of money wagered
– Puck Line: N/A of bets made | N/A of money wagered
– Total: Over, 83% of bets made | Over, 95% of money wagered
Betting Pick: Stars Moneyline (-109)
Once again, we’re seeing a very tight line in this game which leads me to believe it’ll go down to the wire again. The Flames had their hearts ripped out last night, losing on a goal in the final minute, after overcoming a late two-goal deficit. Having played on the back-end of a back-to-back, it’ll be interesting to see what the goaltending situation looks like. If either team is more equipped to play with the backup, Dallas would have that slight advantage.
