There are seven games on the NHL schedule tonight. Lately, we haven’t been getting too many matchups each night because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
In this article, I will provide my top three hockey picks tonight to make a maximum profit on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Those games include the Tampa Bay Lightning at Buffalo Sabres, Colorado Avalanche at Nashville Predators & Toronto Maple Leafs at Vegas Golden Knights.
Our Favorite NHL Picks Today (1/7/22)
Tampa Bay Lightning at Buffalo Sabres
NHL Pick: Over 6 Goals (-115)
It has been a little bit of a rough stretch for both teams, with the Sabres losing five straight games and the Lightning losing three of their last five. With all of that being said, the two teams are still scoring goals – and allowing plenty of them.
This should be a nice free-flowing and open type of game for the teams tonight. There’s no rivalry or any sort of ruggedness that we would look at, so it should be wide open for the players to do whatever they want offensively.
Colorado Avalanche at Nashville Predators
NHL Pick: Nashville Predators ML (+135)
The Avalanche just played a game in Colorado last night and will now have to travel a couple of time zones East on the next night for a game against a talented Predators team. Not exactly the type of scenario you want to be in if you’re an Avalanche backer.
Colorado has won each of its last five games, and 10 of the last 11. However, three of the last four Avalanche victories have only come by a single goal. They are due for a loss, and the Predators will be the ones to give it to them. The last time these two teams faced each other, the Predators won convincingly by the score of 5-2.
Toronto Maple Leafs at Vegas Golden Knights
NHL Pick: Vegas Golden Knights ML (+105)
I can’t believe my eyes, seeing the Golden Knights as slight underdogs at home. This is one of the most fluid teams in all of hockey, basically stepping out there on the ice with the threat to score a goal on every shift.
Vegas does have a very tough opponent in Toronto tonight and will certainly have a tough time in getting the win. However, I do believe the Golden Knights have enough in the tank to get the job done.
