New York Rangers at Toronto Maple Leafs
This should be a very exciting game in Toronto tonight between the Rangers and Maple Leafs. I’m taking the over on 5.5 goals, getting some nice value in the process. Surprisingly, Rangers’ games have gone over the total in five of the last six tries; and they are the ones we usually have to worry about in that regard. While the Maple Leafs have adopted more of a defensive style this season, we should expect the tempo to be at an all-time high tonight. Toronto has won four straight, and nine of its last 10, so there’s no way it wants to let up on that momentum.
Pick: Over 5.5 Goals
San Jose Sharks at St. Louis Blues
The Sharks worked out so well for us the other night as an underdog that we can go right back to them on Thursday night. I loved what I saw from them the other night, and I believe they’ll come right back with another great performance before heading back home. The Blues are really struggling at the moment, losing each of their last four games and it doesn’t look like those struggles will be ending tonight.

Detroit Red Wings at Vegas Golden Knights
We just saw this matchup in Detroit 11 days ago, with the Red Wings winning 5-2 over the Golden Knights. I didn’t see a whole lot in that game to make me think anything would be different for tonight’s matchup; Detroit thoroughly dominated that one. The Red Wings have certainly exceeded expectations this season and there’s no reason for them to hold back now. On the other hand, Vegas is finally getting back to normal after a sluggish start. However, I like the Red Wings at this value in a close one tonight.
