Friday night’s NHL slate only has four games. In this article, I will provide my top three hockey picks tonight to make a maximum profit on Friday, February 11, 2022.
The three games being discussed tonight are the Winnipeg Jets at Dallas Stars, New York Islanders at Edmonton Oilers & Tampa Bay Lightning at Arizona Coyotes. Let’s dive right in and see where the value is tonight.
Our Favorite NHL Picks Today (2/11/22)
Winnipeg Jets at Dallas Stars
NHL Pick: Jets ML (+140)
The Jets won the only meeting between the teams, a 4-3 shootout win back on Nov. 2. While we can’t take a lot away from that game, we can’t even take away a lot from their recent performances either. The only advantage I see is that the Stars had an extra day of rest over the Jets. But that is where the road splits.
Looking at the betting landscape, we’re seeing the Stars get about 70% of the bets while the Jets are getting 85% of the money. It’s the second biggest differential of bets/money right now on the board, and I will regrettably talk about the biggest one later in the article.
New York Islanders at Edmonton Oilers
NHL Pick: Oilers ML (-140)
The Oilers have to get back on the good foot at some point, right? They should tonight against the Islanders team that isn’t much better. There is just way too much talent on the Oilers to keep watching these opportunities slip by the wayside.
Looking at the betting landscape, nearly all of the bets/money are heading towards Edmonton. I would have to agree with the masses in this instance.
Tampa Bay Lightning at Arizona Coyotes
NHL Pick: Coyotes ML (+250)
Looking at the betting landscape, the Lightning are getting 83% of the bets while the Coyotes are getting 87% of the money. Of course, this could be a huge overreaction to the Lightning being on the back-end of a back-to-back. I would imagine Brian Elliott gets the start in this scenario, so the sharp money believes Arizona can take advantage of that.
I don’t love the pick, but these are pretty damn good odds with a lot of money heading in that direction.
