In the very old First Division era teams would meet on Christmas Day and there would be a reverse fixture on Boxing Day. The fixtures list often brought together clubs that were close geographically to make travelling easier for the fans. There is a programme in the Premier League this Boxing Day that suggests the tradition of matching teams close together in the country has been maintained.
Perversely, however, the Monday night match sends Manchester United to Newcastle. That match is not one of the options in our Premier League picks for a three-leg parlay. The fixtures between Liverpool and Leeds and Wolves and Watford have been postponed due to Covid-19 cases and alternative dates have not been announced.

EPL Parlay Picks For Gameweek 19
Norwich City vs Arsenal
EPL Best Bet – Arsenal to beat Norwich City at (-230)
Bet | Odds |
Norwich to win | +650 |
Draw | +350 |
Arsenal to win | -230 |
Arsenal are now one of the form teams in the Premier League after three wins in three fixtures. After a quite meek loss at Everton, things did not look good for manager, Mikel Arteta. His demeanour suggested he had lost some faith in the squad. However, maximum points from the next three fixtures have taken Arsenal into fourth place and in contention for Champions League qualification next season. The run can continue with a win on the road against Norwich.
The home team look certainties for another return to the Championship, after accumulating just 10 points in 17 fixtures. Norwich are now bottom of the table after scoring just eight goals and conceding 34. Their one win was at home but that tally is unlikely to improve when Arsenal visit Carrow Road. The gulf in class points to a win by more than one goal but we will include the Moneyline odds in calculating the return from a winning Parlay.
Tottenham vs Crystal Palace
EPL Best Bet – Tottenham to beat Crystal Palace at (-145)
Bet | Odds |
Tottenham to win | -145 |
Draw | +275 |
Palace to win | +410 |
Arsenal’s North London neighbours, Tottenham, are the second pick as they should take care of business at home against Crystal Palace. The 2-2 draw with home field advantage against Liverpool in their last fixture was a good result. Liverpool did have a player sent off after 77 minutes but Tottenham could not find the winner. However, Harry Kane scored just his second goal in 14 Premier League appearances and he tends to go on runs of goals so he should score against Palace.
The visitors have won just one of eight away matches this season, scoring 15 goals and conceding nine. However, three fixtures on the road have been draws so they have lost four times on their travels. However, that total should increase because Tottenham are tipped for maximum points. Kane to score at any time is another prediction but it is not part of the Parlay.
Brighton vs Brentford
EPL Best Bet – Brighton and Brentford to draw at (+240)
Bet | Odds |
Brighton to win | -105 |
Draw | +240 |
Brentford to win | +310 |
Brighton and Brentford have both won 20 points in 16 Premier League fixtures. The visitors are one place ahead of their opponents in this fixture by having a superior goal difference of two goals. This fixture is the epitome of an evenly matched contest so we can’t ignore the draw which is the third predicted outcome in the Parlay.
